for the Second Annual Symposium?
A: The First Annual Symposium (www.sdcausa.org/symposium1)
held in May 2002 attracted over 300 professionals,
mostly from local biotech and pharmaceutical
companies, and research institutions. With overwhelming
support and contribution from individuals, corporations,
and associations, we expect even greater participation
at the second annual event.
Q: Are there still sponsorship opportunities?
A: There are still limited sponsorship opportunities
available with full benefit package. Please
email symposium2@sdcausa.org for further details.
Q: Are there volunteer opportunities?
A: Your support has been a very important part
of our success and as always, we rely on our
volunteers to help us bring better programs
and activities to the community. Please register
online as a regular symposium attendee, and
in "Comment", describe your interest
in volunteering. You will be contacted when
your help is needed.
Q: Can I pay the registration fee on
site?
A: Onsite payment may not guarantee your Marriott
lunch room seating. To guarantee your registration,
please mail the fee (check only, made payable
to SDCA, indicating the registration number)

Where can I get it?
A: This number (e.g., SYM-1083) can be found
in the registration confirmation email message
sent to you following your online registration.
If you didn't keep the email, please email symposium2@sdcausa.org
and we will immediately retrieve it from the
database for you.
Q: Can I get a receipt for the symposium
registration?
A: Yes. Please request a receipt through "Comment"
line on the online registration form. A receipt
will be provided to you ONSITE at the Information
Desk.
Q: How about parking?
A: The whole day parking cost at Marriott will
be covered by the organizers. Please bring the
parking ticket to the Information Desk for validation.
Q: Can I bring along my child?
A: No children inside the conference and lunch
room please.
Q: Is there any dress code?
A: No requirement. Business casual is preferred.
